Day 1.....Breaking Ground

Stage: Lot preparation | Day 1
Story: After years of preparation, the first day of construction arrived. Sadly, I was away in Utah on a photography trip and so Graham, our dutiful builder, carried the cake and champaign to the lot for an 'opening ceremony' with my wife Kim.
The toast was had.....
And the digging began....
And then there was cake....made by Kim's lifelong friend Kim.
And all the while, Jacko looked on from the well-worn passenger seat of Graham's truck....
